When to use the active voice in Past continuous tense?
La voce attiva Past Continuous viene utilizzata quando vuoi concentrarti sulla persona che ha eseguito l’azione in passato. Quando vuoi concentrarti e parlare dell’autore dell’azione, scrivi la frase con la voce attiva.
Structure: Subject + was/were + V1+ing + object

Quando usare la voce passiva al passato continuo?
Passato La voce passiva continua viene utilizzata quando vuoi concentrarti sulla persona o cosa che ha ricevuto l’azione in passato; che stava recitando. Quando il destinatario dell’azione (oggetto del verbo) è più importante dell’agente stesso, scrivi la frase con la voce passiva del Past Continuous.

Past continuous tense passive voice examples:
- Agli studenti veniva insegnato in un modo strano (da lui).
- La partita si stava svolgendo in uno stadio enorme.
- Mi è stato detto di investire in quella società.
- Quei ragazzi sono stati picchiati brutalmente la scorsa notte.
NOTA: L’autore dell’azione nella voce passiva non è menzionato o è separato tra parentesi perché è meno importante o è già compreso nella voce passiva. Ma puoi sempre aggiungere il soggetto (agente) se vuoi.
